Palmon Evolution — The Path to Ultimate Power

Evolving your Palmons is the most significant milestone in Palmon Survival. It’s the process that takes a standard unit and transforms it into a powerhouse with massive stat boosts, enhanced skills, and a completely new look. However, evolution isn’t a quick process—it is a marathon that requires careful planning and resource management.

A common mistake players make is trying to evolve too many Palmons at once. Because the resources are so specific and limited, spreading yourself too thin will leave you with a team of “half-evolved” units that aren’t strong enough for late-game content. To succeed, you need to understand the cost of progression and who deserves your resources first.

Understanding the Stages of Evolution

Evolution is broken down into four distinct stages, and each one acts as a major breakthrough for your Palmon. However, you don’t just jump from one stage to the next; it is a gradual climb. Within every stage, there are 10 individual levels that you must first power up using Elemental Energy.

While the orbs handle the leveling, the Evolution Essence are the “keys” required to actually trigger the stage breakthrough. The cost of these stones doubles at every tier:

Stage 1: 20 Evolution Essence + 30K Energy (Require Lvl 18 Camp + 2 Stars)
Stage 2: 40 Evolution Essence + 60K Energy (Require Lvl 20 Camp + 3 Stars)
Stage 3: 80 Evolution Essence + 90K Energy (Require Lvl 22 Camp + 4 Stars)
Stage 4: 160 Evolution Essence + 220K Energy (Require Lvl 24 Camp + 5 Stars)

As you can see, the jump to Stage 4 is a huge investment (300 Evolution Essence total). Since the price goes up so much each time, you really have to be picky about which Palmon you evolve. Don’t waste your Evolution Essence on too many different Palmons at once, or you’ll end up with a bunch of Palmon that are stuck halfway and never reach their full potential.

The Five-Star Requirement

There is a hidden hurdle that many players don’t realize until they are halfway through the process. To unlock the fourth and final stage of evolution, your Palmon must be five-star and with at least Camp Lv. 24. This means you cannot rely on Evolution Essence alone; you also need to be consistently collecting shards and tokens to keep your Palmon’s star rating moving alongside their evolution levels.

The path to a five-star Palmon is a long one, and the token costs increase significantly at every tier:

1 Star: 5x 5 tokens
 2 Star: 5x 10 tokens
 3 Star: 5x 20 tokens
 4 Star: 5x 60 tokens
5 Star: 5x 100 tokens

Because of this requirement, it is often best to focus your evolution efforts on the Palmons you are already successfully starring up. There is nothing more frustrating than having the 160 Essence Essence ready, only to be stuck because you’re missing the shards needed for that fifth star.

The Dojo: Your Primary Source of Elemental Energy

While you can occasionally find small amounts of Elemental Energy in various event chests, the Dojo Challenge is your primary engine for evolution. The Dojo is a permanent, always-active feature that runs on a weekly cycle from Monday to Sunday. This is where you “park” your Palmons to generate the energy orbs required to clear the levels within each evolution stage.

Because the Dojo is a competitive environment, other players can raid your position to steal a portion of your accumulated energy. To be successful, you must balance your generation rate with how often you claim your rewards to ensure you aren’t leaving too much energy sitting as a target for raiders. Staying consistent with your Dojo placements is the only way to ensure a steady flow of energy for your Palmons.

Planning Your Evolution Strategy

Because evolution is such a tedious and expensive process, you shouldn’t just “go crazy” and evolve the first 5-star Palmon you have. Every choice needs to be a deliberate part of the specific squad you are trying to build. You should think about the roles your team needs—whether it’s a sturdy frontline tank to soak up damage or a high-output DPS to clear waves—and prioritize the Palmon that fills that gap best.

It is possible to reset a Palmon’s evolution if you change your mind, but doing so is incredibly costly. You will need a specific voucher that costs either 10,000 Pallite or 100,000 Prestige Coins. Since making a mistake here is so expensive, it pays to be patient and only commit your resources when you are certain that a Palmon fits your long-term team composition.

Final Thoughts

Evolution is a long-term investment. It takes a mountain of Essence, a lot of Energy, and a bit of patience. By focusing on one Palmon at a time, starting with your heavy hitters like Ninjump, and never missing your daily Dojo, you’ll slowly build a squad that is capable of taking on any challenge in Pallantis.
